She will go over the surgical plan with you again to make sure there aren’t any questions or concerns.

During the surgery, Dr. Molina will make incisions to access the breast implants. The type and location of the incisions will depend on various factors, such as the type of implant being removed and whether additional work, such as a breast lift, capsulotomy, or capsulectomy, is being done. At the end of the surgery, the incisions are closed with absorbable sutures, and a dressing is applied. 

On average, breast implant removal alone takes 1 hour but may be longer if other work is being done on the breasts.

After the surgery, you will be taken to the recovery room and sent home once ready.
